Found a GF-7 in a skip. It was thrown out by a thrift shop. Looks to be in very good cosmetic condition. I want to see if I can get it working. Anyone have any idea what amperage the DC adapter should be if I can find one that fits? I'm thinking it might be 500mA. Don't want to risk blowing it up if this thing still works. :stormtrooper:

I notice your in Australia. Your DC adapter would probably work/be available in New Zealand. Do you mind me asking what your using?
Just buy a regulated power supply from anywhere. They will only supply as much current as the device requires.

go to dick smiths and get your self a varable voltage transformer with all the atachments 30-40 bucks
If you hadn't already guessed I'm a bit of a tightarse so I'm going to keep my costs to a minimum. I was hoping to find a comparable adapter from amongst the mountain in the local thrift shop. As to the photos I do have a digital camera but haven't a clue on how to get images transferred from there to here. Anyway glad to be on the site you guys seem a friendly bunch. :gathering:
