Friggin awesome man! Way better photo skills than me.
The sheer size of the Wheely is enough to trump other boomboxes.
But, when Norm restores the guts and illuminates the dial, it takes it to another level!

Wow! Sorry to dig this old post up, but I have to ask what exactly was added? I'm new ti the game so I don't know what one of these looks liek without the mods.

Did you add the lights to the EQ sliders too?

And is this box up for sale by any chance ??

The custom parts are the red LED in the radio tuner needle and the blue LEDs in the radio tuner screen. The EQ sliders and LEDs above the speakers are original.

He also re-capped the curcuit boards for optimal performance and to eliminate the chance for any bad ones.

Thanks to our buddy Glu, I now have a donor cassette motor to swap out with mine. Hopefully this will fix the problem I am having :crossfingers:.

Thanks a lot. There are a few other guys that have had superduper do some custom modifications to their boxes. You could be part of this clan someday .

It was a long rough road to get this to work properly. It's still not 100%, but I couldn't resist having Norm put some extra goodies in it. .
