CROATIA - booming at the beach!

Last holiday i spent at Croatia, an part of ex jugoslavia.
It´s about 7 hours to drive with the car from vienna.

Summer, sun , beach ... and a boombox.
So let the story start:

The star of the story:
PHILIPS compactline 8118:

Short break in slovenija at a well known food station.
Trojane speaks for sweets in all sorts, mjam...

Short brake next the street

Arrived in the hotel.
The rustical rooms:

Love the old furniture

All accessories for holidays

Some food for good blasting.
From flea, 50cent each

But this is a beach story!
So let´s go outside.
ViennaSound starts the time machine and go back to the spirit from 1900 all around

Ready to blast in Opatija city

Outside the hotel:

The KVARNER hotel was built 1884, one of the oldest in town

What a beautiful old building

Not many guests in the morning in the cafe

So no problem to make an short blast

Also in the lounge...

The magical stonecircle of good sound

But now go to the LUNGOMARE

The Lungomare is an walk next to the sea.
12km long from Lovran, Opatija, Icici to Volosko

What a panorama...

This says: No boom at the beach! :annoyed:

Pah, here we have the walk of fame! So let´s boom! :sin:

Many croatian stars are here honored:

Ivo Robic is well known

So go on along the beach

Nice background

Pretty old casino

The beach in croatia is most time not sandy
Most are stones and stone plates

But i love the panorama

You can also go by car. Take this rusty Opel Kadett

Or better take the bus....

Or this nice Zastava YUGO Koral

And go to Rijeka city to the radio station

Or to the disco?

VS, as always, those are excellent pictures and what a wonderful holiday that must have been. Most of us will never get to see the beauty of Croatia and I thank you for sharing it with us. Also, your parent's are wonderful for taking all those pictures!!
