I got to mess around with Iras and I fell in love with it!
Conion Fx had two boxed units for sale a few years ago.
Wish I could have got my hands on one.
Very rare bird and a heavy hitter for sure.

too. Even i collect mostly black boomers i woldnt mind one of those . Just love it. Thats can be named a "grail" indeed. Not the m90 which is so common like a VW golf . And " yes" Ira - please make a sound comparo. Actually it doesnt matter lot, because it kick m90 butt on looks all the way

and its about time a member asked for the ' 3 grail comparo ' ::
......

for starters -- imvo --there is NOTHING -- no 1 piece // no 3 piece // no 12 piece that can touch the ultra expansive
high end of an m90 = NOTHING

for looks and overall sound --the 970 is really what a boombox SHOULD look like --
its just so elegant and magificent -- and its sounds very beautiful -
but slightly less great than the m90 and the c84

to my ears --the c84 actually//honestly has a deeper bass than the m90 --its got a more ' kaboomish' bass

in fact - the c84 sounds so good --
that if i had to listen to either box ALL day long --i would not care which of these 2 ...
for pure listening pleasure ... the m90 and the c84 are totally interchangeable

putting my $$ where my words are --
i would trade an m90 to get another c84 .......................... RIGHT NOW !!
