Conion C100F remake vs C100 original [for A Movie]

Hey so I'm looking at a C100F on ebay, and I was wondering just how different it is from the original C100 (or is it called the 100F?). I'm working on a movie set in 1985 and we need to make sure everything is from that year or before. I know the C100F was made in 1987, but if it looks exactly like the original (from '84) then that should be fine for camera.

I'm just wondering if you boombox gurus think the C100F really passes as the original, or if there's any glaringly obvious difference that would make it stand out (besides its cheaper parts).

If you're talking about the re-issue C100 that was made in Korea then there are a few cosmetic differences.
Mainly the left hand side needle meters are absent and the Tape Run LED display.

Like Bill says, only boomboxnerds like us will care, but if you want 100% authenticity I'd definitely be going for an original C100F.

Plus the original is easier to get. The Korean model is much rarer But be ready for any kids who carry this, especially with batteries, to have one arm longer than other...Lol

Funny that the Korean re-issue is labeled as "The Original" C100f when its not
