Hi, I recently bought a C-126F in good shape, only two problems with the decks.
The upper auto-reverse deck works but engaging autoreverse makes a clicking noise and pulls the tape inside,
The lower deck's head and pinchroller is stuck in the upper position, Pressing play magnetizes the head, makes the motor run, pressing stop makes the motor slowly turn off. Pause works. Pressing rewind or fast forward makes the motor run, doesn't turn the reels and pressing stop does nothing, only turning the power off makes the button pop off.
Are there schematics for those decks? How much does the lower deck resemble the one from a C-100F?
