Just wondering, when playing Tape 2 (top deck) is Tape Counter supposed to work, as well as Tape Run LED?

those only work when playing the bottom deck ,although the needle vu's should work with both decks.

inside the conion there's belt that drives the tape run lights directly off one of the tape drive spindles inside the bottom deck ,just to let you know if the tape run lights ever stop that belt may be the culprit .

Hey Floyd thanks, I did have a problem with some of the lights on the Tape LED not working, but the guy ended up changing all LEDs, along with rebelting all decks. That's great info to know for future reference.

Tape motion indicator LEDs and Tape Counter are for monitoring Tape Deck 1 only. There are no tape motion indicators for Tape Deck 2 unless you count the tape direction arrow LEDs for the auto reverse function.
