Clairtone 7979 beat cut switch.

Hello friends, looking too replace my beat cut switch that the seller took out and where the wires connect. Not sure why he did that so I'm looking to replace it .I also have a wilco cs1049 what i can prob pop it open but dont want too seeing its been done and my pictures of it when i worked on it is not close upand really clear. It looks like the same set up .any pics to help out would be very appreciated thanks.

It's probably not necessary. Generally speaking, that switch is used on AM and maybe SW bands during recording, when there is oscillation, so you can flip from one position to the other to see if it gets better. Most people get along perfectly fine without it. Maybe the previous owner, or you can use that switch cutout to install a plain slide switch and use it to turn on a bluetooth receiver, which is much more useful than it's original purpose in this day and age.

Thanks for responding. Yeah I try to keep them original if possible even if they are kinda silly to have but I like having it all there working or kinda working lol .
