Get this finished to the point of being rideable so thought I’d share. It’s a Mk2 Raleigh Chopper from the 70’s with a ton of other bits and pieces. Bought a pile of rusty parts and decided to make myself something a bit different. Got a few finishing touches to do but am awaiting parts...fitting wheel spinners off a ‘65 Corvette and orange chopper decals. Hope you like :-) E49F8392-FCE2-4651-90F2-30B98F1DC776.jpeg7D7B357F-18D6-4374-87C8-614340568ABB.jpeg516EC5E7-651F-4E54-AE6B-87FFC135786A.jpeg0BC02406-1E42-43A9-B274-DDBD7CA39C7B.jpeg9B137BD2-3D97-40EB-B1DA-1DCF1545104D.jpeg

Looks awesome! As a lifelong fan of the Schwinn Stingrays, I can totally relate to this. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! Yeh the chopper was pretty much based on the Stingray so not too far different. :-)

Fantastic project. Looking at the dimensions of this bike, the rider is placed nearly over the back wheel. I bet it's a wheely machine!

Need some pictures of it outside with someone riding it to give it scale.

Yeh they’re known for their inclination to wheely! We’ve gone to the seaside today with the original chopper and this one so I’ll see if we can get some good pics

Great to see you enjoying the process of the build, I found it very cathartic during an otherwise pretty rough time.
