I always enjoyed the CHiPs Sshow too. I always wanted to be 'Ponch' and have a partner like Jon. 12 yrs ago, I tested with CHP and got half way through the hiring process. I passed the Oral interview with an 85%. I received a "Thank for playing" letter a couple of weeks later stating "Although I passed the 70%-100% passing test, at this time we're only accepting scores 90% and higher. Good luck and test again." I was pissed and went onto hire with Fresno PD instead. I was bitter because I wanted to ride that cool Motorcycle all around town and visit the burger stands where all the pretty ladies were.
