I had the same dump truck and matching bulldozer and backhoe. Those things were built to survive the apocolypse!
They deff dont make them like that any more. (Heaven forbid toys nowadays have a sharp angle to em'. Kids today are way too coddled. we're raising a bunch of wussies!) I used to ride onmy dump down my driveway and hills in my neighborhood!

I also had that same Buddy L van. My my GI joes would use it as an urban assult vehicle, A-Team style!
The only thing i have from my childhood is my boombox. :breakdance:

I had a bunch of Tonka trucks and I remember my mom on the phone telling her friend that they were the only things I hadn't distroyed. I took a hammer to them after that.....I miss them!

This was one of the best and most dangerous toys I had and it is still fun to play with now. From about 1974. :-D

I may have a few things from when I was a kid, but they are buried in a box some place.

But I used to have a BLAST on one of these, my absolute favorite thing as a little kid.

Hey Chris, hows about this one :-D :-D my fiancée is my young childhood friend and neighbor. My brother and I played with Jeannie and her sister from age 3 up. Funny story is a guy named Brian down the street had the green machine and caused my brother and I not to talk to the girls for a week because we caught them riding it. Funny Jeannie remembers me sending my brother to their house to tell them we weren't playing with them anymore. :-)

I had an Oddessy System. It was Horrible! Also, I just changed my screen saver at work to a silver Lamborghini Countach. Best car ever! Does anyone remember in Cannonball Run 2 (I think) :hmmm: when the two hot girls were being chased by the cops in the White Lamborghini so they drove through the car wash and the white paint washed off and the car came out red! Classic!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hi4ccVBsZEM

And of course I had the first TYCO Nite-Glow Silver Streak Double Loop Track and many cars afterwards for the slot tracks too. Funny story is that my mom and dad were divorced at the time and I was in Oklahoma. My dad was at Lionel Playworld in Colorado Springs and had THE LAST ONE in his basket to send me for Christmas. Some lady tried to take it and my dad's girlfreind Toni BEAT HER ASS!!! Needless to say I GOT IT! Wish I still had it. :-/

Thank you so much for the memories :w00t: The year that I really stopped believing in S.C was the same year my brother and I found the presents hidden under a huge blanket up stairs where my grandparents lived. My large present was the TCR track with the 3 light up cars :-O  AWESOME :-D
