I have a GF 555 which I snagged on eBay, which is worse for wear.
It's got broken case bits, missing trim, saggy dials, etc..
But, apart from a slow tape deck 1, it's all working great..
It's not possible for me to restore it fully, so the question is, are there any cheap and easy mods, paint jobs, or other things I can do to the box to give it a new lease of street life..
I was thinking Graffiti box with an Mp3 (sd) casette in the rubbish tape deck ( all the line inputs are fine).
Waddya think

. There are many ways for custom but many for restoring too
. Even the broken plastic is possible to fix. This box have insane thick body. Let us see it. Disassembling, gluing, sanding and some paint can make it a beauty. Should be really cheap way. And you can connect the player directly to the tape head leads for starter.

. Its worthy to put some job and small amount of money in such beautiful box. Its not so bad at all. We love beaters too
