The following YouTube clip might look like just another carefully stitched together stop motion job but in fact it was made in real time by an invisible Kryptonian engine builder.

Enjoy:

Apologies to all those who've already seen this, I just thought it was good enough to post in yet another forum.

Pretty cool! You never really think about what goes into an engine...and that was a pretty simple four cylinder. :-)

Cool video. It got Me excited to do a rebuild again. It reminds Me of what I did with My old '69 Camaro's 350ci V8. It was actually quite fun to do. I plan to do a 468ci big block with 871 Blower and two 4 barrel 850 cfm double pumpers. Should put out approx. 750 hp.

Don't you just hate it when that happens!

@ THAFUZZ: 750bhp sounds almost plenty. The Triumph Spitfire engine in the video would have come from the factory with around 60bhp on a good day. Many people are installing Mazda MX5/Miata/Eunos engines in old British tin now, instant doubling or even tripling of the output, less weight and an extra couple of main bearings so it should be harder to break them than it was those old lumps of sh classic engines.
