Those are 2 potted but "dead" redwood trees that were awaiting planting but I never got around to it so they perished.

I bought this place 20 years ago and slowly planted virtually everything. I have this same view from all 4 sides of my property. I really really love it. It's like living in Lake Tahoe year round, except that I'm as close to civilization as it gets -- walking distance, 2 blocks literally, from downtown. From front and all sides, I really see mostly just mature trees and vegetation -- no neighbors. For around here, that is very rare and like you say, sooo peaceful. I really lucked out on this property. Don't think I will ever be able to move because it's hard to find anything nicer. Now, if the fools in our government can just figure out how to run a state, that would be the icing. Alas, my hope is waning....

Didn't Sanyo make one? A mini in at least Yellow from the mid to late 80's I think.

Hi Norm-Sony made a couple of yellow sports boomers also.
They have rubber seals around all the knobs and switches.
I have a sports walkman & it's the same way-seals everywhere!! I bet you could dunk it & it would get inside,I won't try but these are cool.
