Not hard to find. High resale value so they're not "cheap". I'm sure you can find one in any price range. Even the rust buckets are awesome...as long as it has the AMC 242 I6 motor!

94 4.0 also has thicker head castings whereas the 97 and up 4.0 has thinner head castings , at the end of the day a lot of the 97 and up 4.0 suffer from head gasket problems when they get over heated too much . these 4.0 eat through some water pumps which are cheap and easy to install. these things haul ass like a scalded rat . amazing power !.

Thanks fellas. I shoulda done this weeks ago since its been in the 60s now the last few days. Can't really drive it to work now. Ha. Plus I need to figure out how to mount my strobe to it without a roof. And I probably should at least have a bikini top on it while on the job site. But who knows...its Wisconsin...our summer could be over.
Interesting info Floyd. She is quick! She does seem faster with the top off too...maybe cuz I can't hear the engine reving up as loud I give er a little more. Ha. Peelin around corners like a 17 year old is quite fun.
My buddy did point out to me that the fins on my radiator are all dry rotted and are falling off. Gotta replace that now.
Love it. I recommend anyone who ever wanted one to pull the trigger and get one.

Yeah I just might do that. I think I can do it myself....it looks pretty simple. I'm not much of a mechanic but it doesn't look too difficult.

with the engine cold take off the radiator cap and then unscrew the drain plug on the radiator and drain the coolant into a pan that holds at least a few gallons. i suggest lubing the hard lines running into the radiator prior to removal , its an easy job man just take your time . make sure you use new 100% anti freeze when you refill it . let it run for a while till it gets hot and check for leaks . top off the coolant and let the air bubbles out before you put the cap back on . if the coolant starts running out of the top you know its time to put the cap back on. turn off the motor once it starts over flowing , this happens when the thermostat opens it also allows any remaining air to exit .
