So I needed a new work vehicle. The '13 Durango just wasn't cuttin it on the job site. Not enough clearance and putting waaay too many miles on it.
Found the perfect '98 Range Rover I was lookin for and the guy sold it on me the day before I could go look at it. I was devastated....I love Range Rovers.
After a short break from craigslist I jumped back on and couldn't find a Range that was anywhere near what I had lined up. So I started lookin for Wranglers.
Found one. '94..one owner...123k miles..I6..stick...and he had all the service records since '98. Test drove it and absolutely fell in love! Felt like a kid playing Nintendo for the first time.
The seller was amazing. He loved his baby. I noticed the fuel filter housing was bad and he took it to his guy and replaced it...along with a few other things.
He was still gonna sell it to me for 300 less than his asking price! I couldn't do that. I gave him what he was asking as it was still a hell of a deal.
Ive had it about 2 weeks now. Shot it up with some Must for Rust and some Rustoleum paint....bought some seat covers, floor mats, etc., etc. She's a little rusty but it is a jeep...they get rusty.
But today.....I took the fn doors off and drove her around town on a beautiful 80° day and had the time of my life. Absolutely love it! Best purchase I've ever made....next to my M90 of course.
The top will be coming off next weekend if the weather permits.
Check it out!
Sorry for the night pics...I'll add a few next weekend.

 Man I've always wanted a JEEP. Original owner buys are the absolute best. Especially when they take care of their sh*t. Cant wait to see it with the top off, oh yeeeeah, take the top OFF! Congratulations on that purchase bro!

Thanks man. I love it.
Do yourself a favor and buy what you always wanted....you'll never regret it.

You made the right choice. A Range Rover would have destroyed your wallet with its horrible reliability and expensive parts.

Waaaay back I had a 98 Jeep Cherokee Classic with that automatic I6...best 4 wheel drive vehicle I've ever driven (with stories)....and I've driven most of em.
Had a 00 Range 4.6, O2 Ram, 98 GMC 1500, 97 Jimmy, 91 Nissan 4x4, etc..
We'll see if this one can top the Classic...

The Inline 6's in these little Jeeps are scary fast! Ton's of torque.

I'm with Reli, you made the right choice here!

Nice score!

Very nice. Good for the summertime blues. Always wanted an old K5 blazer that I could take the top off of.

Great vehicles if you have to have them to tool around a jobsite. Of course I prefer to use a Gator for that.

This is one I want and raise the suspension and all so I can park anywhere I want without getting dings. I always have very high BP parking my BMWs and others.

It is in the works.... I love Jeep!

Congrats bro!

I will post a pic of one I have in the neighborhood that is completely modified.

That Jeep looks AMAZING!!!!
