Took my wife's old High School Sanyo radio with us to visit Crater Lake, Oregon. Mt. Mazama was an active Volcano that collapsed into itself abpprox. 6,700 years ago. What remained, is a large crater at the Mt's top that has filled with water from rain and snow. it's the bluest / clearest water I've ever seen. The lake is about 1,900 ft. deep. I took a chance by standing on the ledge next to an old tree with the Sanyo hoping I didn't drop 780 ft. :-O. Hope You all like the pics

Thanks Brother. They're brochure states that the water is clear all the way down to 108ft. (33m) and because no rivers feed into it to muddy it up, it's cleaner than most household drinking water. Only snow and rainfall fill the caldera. No other motorized boats are allowed other than the tour boats. The deepest lake in the U.S. (over 600m) :-O

Here's a Sony CFS-400 I spotted in my uncle's garage. I snapped this when no one was around, cuz that particular leg of the fam thinks I'm nuts (which isn't too far off). I secretly tested all the functions, and it seems to work fine. As I said, they think I'm nuts, so I didn't even bring it up in conversation.

It's kind of neat to see it serving it's purpose as intended, in it's natural environment. Much like a wildlife researcher, I left everything exactly as I found it when I was done.

There is also a Panny RX-CW__? in it's native habitat at a lumber yard that I frequent. I'll have to snap a pic the next time I'm afforded the opportunity.

I feel like Jack Hannah!

I've pretty much gotten over the fact that "Everyone Else" thinks we are crazy for collecting, but it is cool to see them out in the wild and not behind glass in out booming shrines! :-D
