Well here goes a kool story.
Many of you on the site have had the distinct pleasure of conversing with one of our fine new members on the site.
His name is Jimmy and goes by bklyn sound.
I got a pm the other day by said member titled "I think I know you."
And he went on to give information about me that only
Some one who really knows me would know.
So I replied , you got the right guy but I still was unsure as to who he was. I had an faint idea on who he might be so I shot a pm back and low and behold, yes .
The same Jimmy or (James ) as I knew him by back in high school replies back "Frankie how the hell are ya? Call me on my cell at blah blah blah blah) so during lunch break at work gave him a buzz and we had great fun trying to catch up on 25 plus years that had gone by since we lost touch.
Later on that evening after work we were on voice chat on our iphones , meeting each others families sharing our boombox and die cast car collections and catching up. It is incredible how parallel our lives had turned out so far as personal stuff was concerned,
Hobbies and finally the hobby that brought two old friends back together.
And where else but Boomboxery to meet back up!?!?
That is wild.
I am still blown away and am really excited to have re aquatinted with Jim cause he is crazy kool and we were brothers back in the day in Brooklyn. I look forward to meeting him and his family.
Them visiting with us in Florida or us visiting with them when we end up in NY again.  :beer2:

That is a such a fantastic story !!!!

Facebook is an either love it or hate it type of site, but for me,i left school in 1985,and never kept intouch with any of my old friends,in 2009 i descovered facebook,at first i did'nt want to join because i found it abit of a female type of thing, and i was'nt keen on publifying my life, but anyhow i joined and i ended up finding my past..found lots of friends that i had'nt seen since school, even found some of my older friends and reletives that moved away in the early 80s so i had'nt seen them in almost 30 years, facebook and friends reunited are great if you use them to find your past, the part i dont like is people letting you know every minute of their life..also dont like them keep changing and updating the site, very annoying, especially this new timeline thing, the worst update yet, they could at least ask us first,or give us the choice to update to the new style or keep the old style :annoyed:

You know what's funny is that I've never met frank....but after reading jimmy's posts these last few weeks....I was kind of getting the same vibe from him as I was from frank's posts.....
I just figured it was cuz you guys were from the same area....but it all makes perfect sense now...
honest to god....
Great story fellas...
