I've wanted to know this for a while!

The rules: Only front and top facing buttons count, ie no AUX/Phono or other functions relegated to the rear or sides.

Everything else on the front and top counts, tape reset buttons, individual tape deck function buttons, APS buttons, FM presets, anything you can push, slide, flip or turn counts.

Your suggestions must be a accompanied with a photo!

Sounds ok.
I reckon it's the only box with analogue VU's, a digital tuner & a Graphic equalizer.

Found this one boxed, brand new!

Do boxes like the Casio KX-101 or the Sharp MR-990 count?
Ahh good question! I don't think the keyboard boxes should be included, personally.

I too, have this exact radio but it is rebadged as under a JC Penny (Dept. store) brand. It sounds pretty good, but only average bass. Loaded with features.

Sharp GF-777 - 44, including the counter reset button. :-D
Strangely, the 555 trumps that thanks to its 11 individual APLD selection buttons and the edit and APLD buttons on deck 1, plus the cross fader slider, the sequence selector for deciding which order to play tapes in, 1-2, 1-stop, 2-1, 2-stop, etc.

But the 555 also has its dual concentric tuning knobs on the offside of the cabinet rather than the front so I guess that disqualifies it. Just as well really, I haven't the energy to lift the lardy wee sod clear of the floor for a photo!
