Found the creator of the Lasonic i931 design!

Hong-Shie Chen from Tainan, Taiwan is listed as the inventor (designer for a design patent). I couldn't find creators of earlier Lasonic/Yung Fu boomboxes, but maybe they're still out there...




Are there any members that live in Taiwan and want to help out locating Hong-Shie Chen?

Hello everyone,I am just a freshman here. I just bought a Lasonic i931BT, and I just live in Taiwan . I may help to find Hong-Shie Chen,but it's a little bit strange. I have call the telephone of Yung Fu ,and there is another company. (moved?) The guy using telephone said Yung Fu are closed several years ago.

I guess they maybe change their company name, and I buy my 931bt from US. (Lasonic products are not sale in Taiwan. I living in Taiwan go to buy a heavy boombox which may be made in Taiwan flyng to US then coming back to Taiwan :grim: ) If I find some clue,I will report back .

Yung Fu company(永福科電公司) went bankrupt in 2009 due to Great Recession. Hong-Shie Chen is the president of Yung Fu company, and the president could't be contacted.

No. It's really strange? No identifying info besides the label I posted????
