It was April this year when i posted a trade with a Conion V-121 that i had twice in my collection.
It didnt take long for a response from a very respectable member from this community to trade for
a Boombox that i had in my wantlist since the beginning of this collecting madness !! :-D
A well known boomer that is featured at the Top of the Boomboxery page that everybody must have seen it.
Cant be missed anyway because its the Biggest Boomer ever made.

The boombox i got from this good friend i made in the process of the trade is the Legendary ELTA MASTER BLASTER.
The Person that i made the exchange is BlasterPunk aka Peter from Dessau Germany.

I ve been waiting for 5 months to get it from him but as they say better late than never !! :-)
If it wasnt for those months maybe i wouldnt get to know Peter , maybe we wouldnt talk regularly on the phone,
maybe this would be another boring trade deal. It feels so good to befriended Peter in this time frame !!
We now speak on the phone and hopefully he will come to Athens this month or the next one.
Good news is that he might be bringing another rare one with him !

I am super excited with this boombox it helped keep the flame from not fading out for this hobby.
I made a promise to him to make a topic about it so here are some pictures from when i got it this past Monday.

This is the pic i got from Peter when it was shipped from him !!

People from the post office made fun of the package and told me that my ''closet'' has arrived .

Took me about an hour to get to the main unit with the help of my sister.Thats how well packed it was.
My sister also made fun saying that the parcel must contain a ''train'' and not a radio.
Here are the pictures from unpacking it.

To my awe it is a mint example , a very beautiful and well taken care of unit through those years
that it is around. Previous owner obviously loved it. :afro:
I asked Peter afterwards if this was sent and professionally packed by some company. The answer was that it
was packed from his own hands.
The Pictures above are a guide on how big black boxes should be packed to arrive safely at any destination.

So the only thing left was a cold beer and more pictures of this Great boomer .
Thank you Peter very very much for everything.
Enjoy Everybody.

YES!!! :w00t:    :hooray: That Elta is just so damn minty. It even has the doors on the back, which are usually missing.

Congratulations, Deech.

WOW! Such a beauty is not oft beheld by mere mortals - and those grills look as if they're bulging with output. I love the thought given to on board tape storage, I'm surprised this isn't a feature on more BB's given the amount of open areas inside some models.

Yes, I really do like this very, very much indeed. :hooray:
