So today I went over to bk_sound's house and Jimmy says he has something for me. He steps outside and comes back in with this suitcase sized unit. A brand name I've never heard of. Shadow JB-750. Or better known to us guys as "The Wheely". Clean, big and almost complete. Missing the volume and balance pots?!?! I'm so grateful for friends like Jimmy. This was on my want list. I don't want to plug it in yet because I don't know what else is missing so I'll open her up and start investigating. I'll keep you guys in the loop!! Enjoy these pictures for now I guess. I still can't believe this was in the trash AND it is a brand name aka that we have NO records of!

Dibs if you end up selling it!

Potentiometers completely removed with great care. Wire disconnected from above. Won't plug her in until I get the necessary parts to complete her. Anybody have them? Hit me up. I've already hit up Blasterpunk so I'm waiting for his response. He says he has lots of stuff for it. Hopefully he does. But just in case he doesn't PM me what you have. I obviously need the knobs as well. Thanks guys!!

So strange that someone removed them. Good luck with the parts search! Any other strange things in there? Overall it looks pretty good from here.

Battery wiring for the clock came off. Tuner dial pointer needs to be replaced. Still there but some pieces broke off. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1424490517.220279.jpg
Other than that it's peachy keen!! 🍑😅

WOW!! :w00t: That's very good of Jimmy to give you that gorgeous box for nothing! Hopefully someone can source the parts you need to make it complete and working again.

In the meantime, you have a truly stunning display box to drool over! I've also never heard of that particular AKA. It's probably a rare one...

Super Score JBoogie. Jimmy is one hell of a guy

I don't see ANYTHING scary there, everything looks fix able!

Never heard of that one :hmmm: How can this be
This radio has been well documented with many AKA's cataloged. Very strange indeed!

Congratulations to You both. I love Jimmy like the Brother I never had. Great stuff. As I stated on FB Boomboxery, I believe Boogie's aka is probably the rarest aka of them all. If no parts are available, and We can get 3D scanned copies of them, I'd loan my parts for reproductions.

Thanks guys for the great responses. It does look fixable so I'm super excited about getting it fixed up. The word "Rare" is so used up imo. Unique sounds better. Waiting on Peter for my list of needs. So as soon as I get them I'll post up to date pics. Stay tuned!
