....I hope. If all goes well, I will finally have some quality replacements for my inefficient MTX AAL 2230's to hook up to my super awesome Kenwood KR 9600. Wish me luck...I hope they're as good as the ad says they are. Great price.

Thanks for your advice, Norm. You are appreciated. These definitely werent his choice, nor did he ever mention them nor were they even brought up in discussion, so dont put them on him. He just advised me what to look for in the specs. They aren't Sansuis or JBL L300s...but I think they'll suffice. I actually wanted these before I ever laid eyes on the MTXs...probably 2 years prior...like 1994. AKA my original dream speakers.

That Kenwood puts out 160 wpc....I think I found some worthy twins for the menage...

Stay tuned...

One hint....Conions ain't the only ones with them colored rings....

vvvvvvvv these just ain't cuttin it.

Those speakers looks like they can thump.

Good luck.

I'm thinking sometime in the near future god willing, getting a classic silver maybe Pioneer to drive my KLF 30's.

Thanks bro. Those MTXs ain't terrible but those 12s aren't true subwoofers...plus they aren't 15s. Gotta have 15s.
Don't hesitate on buying the silver...I don't regret it one bit.

Good luck with the new setup but those MTXs ****ing pound, and you have 4 of them so I don't see why you need anything else! hahaha

Not happening. They were just a little bit rougher than I wanted. The bases looked like they had been sitting in water at some point. Really not terrible overall. I'll wait for the older ones that were made out of real wood.

Got something else lined up that I'm hopefully looking at tomorrow....

Cerwins are the speaker of choice if you want explosive bass. I can tell you first hand as being in the military afforded me ample opportunity to see what kind of listeners we had in the barracks and elsewhere. :-)

These are the Vegas I'm holding out for...some day. They made them from '87 til about '97 I think. They had the tweeter and mid range controls. Very efficient too. Didnt really want the black ones anyway. The AT-15. Not my picture.
