big power

i had this box on a month or so ago but the speakers were missing.went on my trip to the dump as we all do and low and beholed a complete box. so i made one out of two now it is complete and man this thing has some power big power wooden speaker boxes give big bass not bad for 1983

9 "D" cells.... how common is it to see an odd number like that..... I would have expected 8 or 10, but not 9...

I think my Sanyo MX-650K is a 9 "D" cell box too .


What are the odds that you found those two boxes at the dump at different times to make one good one?

For the record, the RISING 20/20 and Toshiba RT-S93 both take 9 D's too.
