Congrats and the double VZ2000 purchase, that's the same way I got my first pair, but got 1 black and one red/blue from the same seller. So the Japanese version of the VZ2000 is the red/blue one? Do they have a Japanese black model? I have 2 of the Black English modles and one red/blue in English that I thought was the Canadian release? I believe one of the only other differences is the input options with black having standard RCA inputs and the red/blue having the bigger 1 cable connection thing. Never fully known how many versions there are of the 2000s and how they may vary by country. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks Guys....I am SUPER excited to get to work on these. Once the EVH M70 is complete at the end of the week, I will start up on both of these. I have to order belts & needles.

I have wanted a VZ2000 with red speakers forever! The shear size of these units is amazing. They are SO heavy!

The only difference I have found between these two units is the color of the power button and cassette deck buttons.

I can't wait to dig into these. I really want to be able to walk into a record store and walk out with some vinyl gems

With out a doubt, one will be for me and later (as I promised my wife) one will be sold. But I'm hoping to have them both up and running by that time. Maybe repaint them, who knows :hmmm:

Thank you brother and YES, thankfully all the info one needs to do one of these right is on this site! I swear I wouldn't do it without.

Of course I will document it all, so we'll see where it all goes!
