I'd love to just have a dedicated, nicely overpowered rear-wheel drive track car... Even if its something like a Mustang or Beemer.
I actually spent most of my youth during the 70's and early 80's trekking round most the UK race circuits as my dad was an amateur racer at the time. That was back before the days of health and safety when as a little kid I could wander around the pit lane when the races were on. Also used to squeeze into the back of the race car and get flung around the circuits, tho clearly not when the races were on
Still wonder how the hell he paid for his racing days as it was a way more expensive hobby than boomboxes!!
I drove a Mustang in the Arizona desert a few years back...that was good fun too...wouldn't object if someone gave me a Mustang or a BMW

I think I need to have a massive liquidation sale! I might have better luck putting a V-8 into a Miata instead....
After spending $7000 doing a tune up and timing belt change on my car (1983 GTS) I would buy a Corvette next time around! 
They'd never do that in the US. People would get mowed down and sue
