Today was a good day at the 2013 Santa Paula Citrus Balloon Festival and Car Show. There were about 200 cars there.
I won Best in Class "Exotic". Very cool. First time for that. I spent all week detailing the car inside and out and it paid off
I also won a coffee mug from the radio show Horsepower For an Hour, a scratcher lottery ticket with the possibility of winning $50 (I didn't win anything) and tickets to go on the TV show "Lets Make a Deal".
I know the first question that is going to be asked is...."Where is the Boomer?".
Well, there is no room in the trunk for a "Good" boomer to fit, say like the M70 and I didn't want to bring something LAME so I just opted for nothing at all. After two chairs a small cooler and my detailing kit, that's about it! Plus they had bands and MC's blasting all day long, so no way to play music. Also, I like to walk around and didn't want to risk someone walking off with it if I did have one displayed.

So, all in all, it was a great day! Even with 200 cars there, everything from Model A's to Blown Corvettes and everything in between, my little Red Ferrari held it's own and had mobs of people all over it....and I mean all over it...the stress of it was hard to take. Little kids hands all over the car. Parents letting their 3 year olds push the stroller right next to the car. People sitting on the fender to get their picture taken. Really ridiculous how people act at cars shows. like for some reason, there aren't signs all over it to say DON'T TOUCH, so all they do is touch touch touch! I will have signs printed for the next one!
Still, I love this car, brings me much joy!
