I have the European GF-9000E version, and it is a very nice box. And rather huge too! It looks so impressive!

Mine doesn't have a proper line-in, it has phono-in, which means you have to use a phono input attenuator to make it usable by modern technology.

Does your Japanese GF-535 version have line-in?

Yes! It looks and sounds so impressive....crystal clear...and beautiful sound.

Everything is written in Japanese so I am little confused on the input and output and all I see at the back.
I see two line connections and switches next to it.

See attached pics. Flash made that discolored look around the battery door from the plastic cover on teh table.
