Heyya, :w00t:

Just curious as to what some hard core members & other boom-heads might think. What box, in your opinion gives the most bass for the buck? If I were to spend 500 bones to get a minty box which 1 could I get for that PHAT Loudness sound we all crave?

Conion/Clairtone C100F :breakdance: Simply the loudest and has some of the punchiest bass.

In my house, my Kaboom and my 909, both are able to shake windows with some kind of music... ;-)

Cheers.

:agree: Ira hit the nail on the head. Many of the 80's lasonics are heavy hitters in the bass dept.

Your looking for Bass. The 3 piece boxes that come to mind is the Fisher PH480 and the Telefunken Studio 1 which to me has the best bass response hands down

Kaboom period, it blows away any other 1-piece, if bass is what you want.

Don't buy one if you're into classical or jazz, though.

I totally agree with this . The PH 480 just kills a M 90 in the bass department.
A track to test this : orinoco flow by enya

JVC Kaboom (older models) or as mentioned.. Panasonic Platinum series.. i have a Panny RX-CT990 too.. excellent bass.. and you dont have to spend anywhere near $500 for either one of those.. $150 tops on the Bay..

I used the watermark CD to test it through the line in. No MP 3 or something

I'm shure you will love the PH 480 sound with this :surf:
