Beer...What Is Your Favorite Small Volume Brew?

I was sitting and enjoying my Shocktop when it occured to me...What are the favorite popular small volume brews in the home countries of our members?

Now the key is, they cannot be imported or brewed in mass like Budweiser or others. (I think Budweiser sucks. To quote a freind of mine, "I suspect Bud ranks right up there with panther piss..." )

However, I dig alot of the Sam Adams selections as well.

So what do you all think?

Remember, it cannot be imported!

There are a few beers here, one is called "Regional", but as you can see... not that many people are interested in the beer itself, but more into the blonde they use in all their ads! Can't see why?

But think of it this way, if the beer was any good, they wouldn't have to resort to such marketing.

We see commercials for Ford automobiles every single day. When was the last time you saw a television commercial for a Ferrari or a Bentley?

I agree...but, if this kind of marketing works...and apparently it does...they do get that right!

Now the hottie does nothing to make me want a Bud...it does however get me thinking of something else! After which I'd have a Sam Adams Summer Ale!

Well Holly, admittedly it is male dominated. BUT (oh boy will I hear about this) feel free to post YOUR favorite local or small volume brew...and if there is some stud in an ad you associate it with, post it too...

Well, I knew it was male dominated, here, but jeez already. I think I made my point. You know I'm no prude as it goes. And try to respect Alisuperton if possible folks... Just sayin'

So, for beer which is difficult to choose a fav... The Pacific NW has many fine small breweries... I would have to choose a few:

Fish Tale Pale Ale
Fish Tale IPA
Blind pig DUNKELWEIZEN
Boundary Bay Outmeal Stout

Oh. I´m surprised. The american Budweiser must be really bad.

The budweiser (from Czech Republic) we have in our stores is a good beer.
I like Czech "Pilsner" beer a lot.

My favourites from Germany are:

Augustiner

Rothaus "Tannenzäpfle"
