Beater Sharp GF 9494, some mods...

Black square around speakers and a grill on woofers...

Ooh, yeah! I like it too! Where did you get those speaker surrounds? I don't remember that much chrome being on the GF-9494.

Oh yes that much Chrome is there on the 9494, but this job is super fly. I like this a lot. Mesh right over the speakers. You are drawn to the speakers.

I guess I never really noticed the amount of chrome because of the large speaker grilles. The added black reminds me of the Japanese version of the GF-9696 (GF-508B)

my 9494 is tucked away and I dug it out last week and thought it's even more boring to look at than I remember but yours looks dope.....I'm going to do the same to mine,what grills are they that you used?

This is the 22w version with the Chrome dustcaps. The normal 12w has those black caps which are kinda dull. A good looking box otherwise

Yeah cmon what grills did you use?

Aftermarket ones like used in cars, 8 inch ones.
But 9494 use uncommon 7 inches speakers, so i have to working like a blacksmith for things go done.

I also took the grills off my GF-9000 so all the chrome can come out and play
