Just ordered the regular silver version for $629 and the case for $70. Can't wait.
I thought about getting the founders edition but I plan on actually using this thing a lot and I just feel like if I got the founders edition I would just want to keep it in the box.

Also does anyone know the frequency response specs for this speaker? I couldn't find anything listed in there specifications section. I have had a few small to mid size bumpboxxs in the past and I wasn't very impressed with the bass. Just some narrow upper bass kick no deep bass to speak of. I am hoping this can dig down to at least 40hz if not a bit lower. Dual 6.5 inch woofers tuned well should have no problem with that I would think.

Big Willy!!! ^^^^^^^^ nice!
I'm a $549 VIP $2 backer. I had the Founder's Edition submitted because I wanted the travel case that was offered to the VIP crew. I realized after that I could have just got my $549 box, and added the $70 case and pay for a extra battery because I need this to perform and travel. Saved a few bucks over the Founder's. Went back in and revised my order, no problems.

You mean $547 since you already paid $2, right?
One thing about the Founders Edition is it has a 5 year warranty instead of just 1.

Yes, buying the Founders Edition makes the $2 prelaunch obsolete. Many buyers gave that advantage away by buying the Founders Edition and the goodies don‘t seem useful to me except the bag. I am very happy with my $549 box plus $69 bag. Outstanding deal.

I asked several times in the group, finally Rob said they will disclose the specs on kickstarter launch. Well, that didn‘t happen …
Thats a bit concerning. If I turns out the low frequency extention is limited like nothing under 50hz im going to be a bit disappointed. I hope we find out before the payments process so I can cancel if need be. Also I hope they dont just give a generic 20hz - 20khz spec which which i see a lot but thats usually from cheaper chinese brands.

They haven't discussed the cassette deck specs much, so I'm not really expecting the tape playback to blow me away. We all know what this mech is like and Bumpboxx have said the BB-777 will outperform the We Are Rewind boombox. That'll be enough for me I think, that thing does decent recordings and sounds good.

I'm also all set. Very excited. Got me a carry case to go wtih my order. I thought about getting an extra battery but I decided to take that money and put it towards the carry bag because, this thing is going to the beach!...if it comes in before of course :-)

Jumped in after the Kickstarter page was restored. I stared at the Founders edition for some time but I (and my Mastercard) settled on the VIP 549.00 model and carry bag. I'm pumped for this summer now!

I have to give credit to the BB=777 crew for it's communication leading up to and through the Kickstarter pains this morning. At every step, they kept everyone in the loop. Customer service is a dying art and they've done an exceptional job on the lines of communication thus far. It didn't go as smoothly as they hoped but they made the best of situations beyond their control.

I saw a video from Bumpboxx showing the subs making sound at 20 Hz. I'm not sure what kind of source he was using to accomplish that, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's true. Having heard the BB777 in person I can say the bass goes way lower than the GPO Brooklyn which only goes down to 60 and breaks up below that, according to the testing I did.

As for treble, it puts out plenty of that as well. I don't know how high it goes, but it's not difficult to get up to 20,000 hz. Even the GPO Brooklyn can do that.

The harder part is tuning the amp for a flat response, so it doesn't color the original source. Whoever tuned the Brooklyn didn't do a good job, because it has a nasty hole at around 600, and a couple of spikes at 125 and 2,000.
