Hey Boomboxery Brother and Sisterhood, I hope you're all doing well...
I wanted to take a second to say hello to you all and say sorry for my absence (if anyone cares).
Things have been absolutely hectic on my end and I have just run out of hours in the day. Between making new music and recording, to traveling and everything else that fills up life, I just had to step away from almost all social media to get some things done.
I have been doing a lot related to radio's and dealing with members, but haven't had the time to stay up on threads or post.
I still get my boombox social fix from members SLO, Dr Der, Howie, DarksideWill and mmcodomino as we have an ongoing message thread going through our phones.
2 years ago I started a musical project that evolved into the most difficult thing I have ever attempted in terms of making music. If you're interested in more information you can find that here.
Basically, the guitar player that helped me create my AMERICAN RIPPER album and I created a 24 minute Thrash Metal song using the poem from Edgar Allan Poe, THE RAVEN called "The Raven: a Thrash Metal Opera". It took 2 years to create and the last 8 months was massively time consuming. 8-10 hour days for months and months just for me to record the 1860 words that make up the poem.
Below is the video that accompanies the song.

As soon as it was finished began I a worldwide promotion using a music promotional company which includes radio interviews, appearances, chatroom log in's ect. Again, all very time consuming.
Then it was straight to my yearly group camping trip which took weeks to get ready for all to be capped off by a visit from one of our most famous Boomboxery members who stayed with me for 4 days and just left this morning. Details on that here
But it's not over yet as I have more travel planned, I have to help my dad move everything out of his house to get new carpet as well as I have a ton of radio's to work on before the International Boombox meet in Las Vegas.
I hope you are all doing well and I look forward to catching up with you all when time permits.
