I'm back from fishing in Alaska, what a trip that was...
I ended up taking the Panasonic FM45. Put it in my back pack as carry on, no issues at all. On the return trip I left the batteries in it to see what would happen. They ran it twice through the scanner and that was it.
I'm glad I did too, my daughters birthday (turned 24) was on August 11th, and she had a bunch of her friends over and as I expected, people were mulling around with drinks in there hands. I grab the little mini Panny, put on a simple rock mix and the next thing you know people are laughing boisterously and dancing.
For the most part, we were rained out, but got out on the water a few times and caught some fish. No salmon, but a bunch of halibut and a few cod.
Always great to spend time with my daughter and her husband
