Remember that word because it is something that's been in the works by corporations since the early to mid 80's when the automobile industry started it.

Now you see it in fast food restaurants instead of you being greeted and taking your order by someone, you are now to place your order on a touch screen.

The Home Depot, Walmart and other box stores have self checkouts.

I believe Royal Caribbean Cruises launched recently a new ship that has a robotic bartender, whatever happened to having a nice conversation with a human bartender and a nice drink to go along with it.

Tesla driverless car causes accident by using the autopilot:

There's even a company that has driverless semi-truck but still requires a tech to be in the truck. Whats the point then!! Not approved by congress as of yet! Hopefully it will never see the light of day can you imagine a 12,000 pound truck being driven by remote or computer.

Security companies introducing to clients CCTV monitoring without a guards. Great for criminals and terrorists. There have been proof by the media criminals not caring if there are cameras.

The wars oversea that are being done by drones were failing at times due to no boots on the ground. Now they have boots on the ground.

Corporations are just thinking short term profits, if they only knew that this will hurt them on the long run when they can't sell their products because humans are no longer employed!!

So remember that word people.

I must admit I prefer using the touchscreen in Mcdonalds because I feel I have more time to look at the menu and make my choice without feeling like im holding people up.

However I remember seeing self service checkouts introduced in supermarkets years ago, and saying then they were a bad thing for the workforce AND non of the customers seem to like them either.

I have nothing against technology but Like I said previously corporate America is painting picture of modern technology to improve and make our lives better and comfortable. In reality it is about eventually not paying a wage bottom line that's it!

Little do they know that if more companies start this trend of automation the very people they depended on "the consumers" to buy their goods, well won't be able because the majority will be unemployed!

Check out the video:

I'm not the biggest fan of all this technology take over stuff either. I don't want to discuss too much but it seems to me if they are going to cut people out of the picture, then they need to cut the prices. But it seems things cost the same or more, so why cut the employees out?

That's all I have to say.

Life as our parents and grandparents knew it is gone. We will never see "Pre-Recession" life again. Corporate profits will never decline. Corporate owned government will never decline, machine's replacing humans to cut costs will never decline. Read the book: "With Speed and Violence: Why Scientists Fear Tipping Points in Climate Change" and you will understand we are already past the climate tipping point. Nature and all other animals are hanging on as best they can in the face of our mess. And at some point in the not too distant future, these machines won't need to feed us, they will move beyond us. AND FARK the companies forcing this future and developing this stuff. They don't HAVE TOO, they are DECIDING TOO against the wishes of the whole population.
