APSS is not working

Hey. So 1 more problem i need to solve. I would rally like to try out Auto Program Search System but when i press CUT ( thats the button hat should activate it) nothing happens and he button doesnt lock in. It just pops up. How can i fix this problem?

No the cut button is for FF Rew stop only. APSS you hit play then FF or Rew and it automatically stops at beginning or end of song

First, make sure that the play button is pressed when you pres FF or REW button.
Second, also make sure that you have proper silent space between songs recorded on the cassette.
