A decent walkman will always sound better than the best sounding boombox. There......said it. Cassette is dead you say? Well, the only thing that boomboxes have over walkman’s is that they have a line in.
In my humble opinion - hating on the iPod is like hating music…period. Like it or not, it’s what’s become of music. No doubt, the sound quality is lacking, but it has so much more to offer, in function, than any boombox or walkman around.

Well, I for one LOVES ipods. I hate everything else Apple but the ipod is one thing they got right.

If anyone else is interested in getting one, I have 4 brand new in the box Nano videos for sale (various colors)

Listening to my Ipod through my beautiful RX-5350 right now!!!
Life just doesnt get any better.
Find me a cassette that can hold 14,000 songs that are instantly available with out having to fast or rewind to get to.
and I will go back to using cassette tape right now.

I LOVE MY IPOD ITS THE ONLY WAY FOR ME TO LISTEN TO MY MUSIC !!!!!!

I couldnt disagree more!!!! (except for the hating on ipod is like hating music part)

Headphones and walkmen killed the boombox.
The only advantage to owning a walkman or other headphone usable device is that you dont have to listen to people bitch about how loud your music is and I dont care much about that feature.
I will proudly tote my boombox till the day I die (with an Ipod connected to it).
