There are 2 single red wires that snake up the left side of the 2 boards at the top of the boombox. (if looking at the guts with rear case removed). Each of these red wires are a single push on type. One pushes onto the top board and the other pushes to the 2nd board. Can someone take a quick pic of one of those red wires at its connection and where it leads to?

Thanks!

Joe the middle board connection leads down to the bottom front of the box which looks like the lower tape deck assembly..
The top board wire goes up into a clusterf_ck of wires up by the tuner window.. lemme know what else info if I can help..

Just had mine open today...and found even more problems with it. Mine might turn into a donor box. I'd trade 10 boomers for a fully working, cosmetically perfect c100. Wanna trade for my tosh s90?

Ok. I'm pretty sure I had it correct shown below.

The red wire that runs on the bottom of the lower cassette deck/board goes to the push pin on the 2nd board.

And the red wire that is soldered to the middle of the lower cassette board goes to the push pin on the top main board, like this:

It's hard to tell without really seeing whole picture. You should have marked the wires to make it easier.

Thanks anyway. I got it.

Finished making a hybrid:
-helix case
-helix lower cassette deck/board
-clairtone guts

Works perfect.
