Anyone else hate waiting???

I have been waiting three weeks to get a massive box from Germany. Unfortunately the USPS and DHL sites only say it left Germany on the 19th of October. Now I was told everything is shipped by plane and not boat anymore. I shipped out a box going to Germany the day after mine was shipped and it arrived on the 27th. I understand the disasters in the North Eastern US could slow things down but this is ridiculous.

Actually i hate most DHL and USPS . Both have terrible services. USPS - no trackin outside US and to DHL took 2 weeks to deliver to close destinations, so if you want it faster they will charge you insane cash . Im using always other companies. They charge lot less from DHL and deliver lot faster for normal amount of cash . But for overseas all companies suck big time. Actually lately im shocked with some asian companies - they deliver for cheap and damn fast considering even that all goin thru customs too. They are beating all lately .

But Tony I used USPS to ship Max's package and he got it in like 10 days. DHL s--ks bad I've also shipped to Australia using USPS and they got it within a week

Awww Bill, I feel for ya....DHL is slow as #$%^ when things are working and with the recent storm, you could be screwed (I hope not). The US Customs is about the same as the DMV

I know what you mean about waiting. For me, it's actually not so much the extra time, it's the extra worry that the extra time is a sign that the thing has gone missing, never to be seen again.

A guy sent me a flashlight from the U.S. that took 29 days to arrive!!

I sent something to Ireland from Australia via normal International Airmail - it only took 4 days to arrive!
I've sent things to the US that have taken 21 days but other times, have only taken 8 days - delivery times are so variable.

In my experience, anything sent DHL from Germany is SSSLLLOOOWWW I'm afraid
It is pretty cheap as a result though (from memory)

Hey, I feel for ya bro' it will arrive eventually but the wait is what kills it!

I had the same experience when I bought my Telefunken 1M and the HP 800 but once I had them I totally forgot about the wait.

So this morning I checked on package from Germany and it showed as it arrived at Reddick Post Office then stated notice left at 8:52am. What the heck. Well it was already 10:30am and Jeannie had been awake since 7:00 am saying no one came to door. So I called post office and it was closed. Then I went to our mailbox and nothing was in it. I was also expecting my Panny today too and it wasn't there. I know on Saturdays the postman usually comes between 12-12:30pm so I asked my kids to watch out for postman while playing by mailbox.

My daughter calls so I run up to mailbox. The postman hands me my Panny and some other mail and begins to tell me the box I was waiting for was big and could only be in upward position so he left it for me to pick up at office. He had a delivery attempt notice. I began to tell him he has a large pick up truck and why did he not put it in there. He claimed he couldn't Now the sun was shining bright, he had a pickup truck but yet he couldn't deliver my package.

I said are you going back to office, he said yes. So then I told him I would follow him back there so I could get package. He said he couldn't do that. I asked why not you have your scanner and all I have to do is sign. Well long story short he was being a lazy A$$. I called the 1 800 postal number and made a complaint stating that the package was never even attempted to be delivered and the postman would not return to office to get package for me. I'm fuming that after waiting five weeks these idiots wouldn't even attempt to deliver my package.

Damn thats really suck. Shitty story once with me too - i tracked the parcel with discolite from Peter arrived in DHL main facilities here and drove there to pick it up right away. The bastards didnt let me because "we must sort it and deliver it" . I was ****in mad on them and wait for one more day I was thinking - no other postal services act so stupid like this , but looks some are too
