Today was another AMAZING day for me...i did another long trip, for a DEAD MINT Dynasty HT-959
. I never ever thought i would find one in my province, or even in Canada, and to find one in this condition will be next to impossible...it was a one owner box since new and it is museum quality. The only issues, are that it is missing 1 of the rear cassette door holders. plus 1 of the antenna tips is missing
...i'll post up a wanted ad for those shortly
Today i got a call from one of my contacts this afternoon at 1:30pm...so i threw on some clothes immediately and hit the road to pick the Dynasty up in person...it's not a boombox to ship at all
. I just got home with it, and took a quick pic with my Iphone...i didn't even wipe it down yet...it's THAT clean
I will post a better pic tomorrow in the daylight.
***On the way down, i saw a huge accident in the mountain area that i was passing through, the car was completely totalled...it was complete black ice everywhere and extremely dangerous to drive in. After i picked up the Dynasty, on the way home i went through lots more black ice areas, and big snow squalls with low visibilty...cars were flipped over in the ditches, and upsidedown the mountainsides...it was horrible. I'm glad i made it home safe...this trip was quite the journey that i won't ever forget, but it was well, well worth it
Thanks to my contact for getting me this box...i LOVE it!
