It's so good! The Venetian blinds! The soft blue! The streak of sunlight! The angles! And the props!! Amazing work. I can't believe you own all this stuff... :drool: and are doing such good work with it!

A few questions....

Is that tape system real?

Did you make up the text or find it from an old ad?

Looks like that could have been from the pages of a 1981 Playboy Magazine!

Is that reel holder on the upper left real, or did you fabricated it? I've never seen it before! I've seen the zip-up bag Teac sold, but not that.

I have one of those tapes, and it's definitely cool, but I think the whole idea was kind of silly. It doesn't save much space versus carrying real cassettes, and it's kind of a pain to swap out reels. Plus they are noisy running.

Hey Glue. I liked your shots so much I shared them on my facebook page. I hope that's ok ... I will remove them right away if you're not cool with that. Only one of my friends is a graphic designer anyway and he's scared of me so no trouble should come of it. :-)

This tape system is 100% authentic...Ive got a brand new one in the unopened box.....

The Ocasse holder is an official accessory, it's all very nicely machined aluminium and the triangular points/holders slide up and down so they can hold your reels in place. It's a very overly designed and expensive looking rack, just like the tapes!! I've got 3 shells and 24 reels and swapping them in an out is anything BUT quick and simple. I thought those that have them would get a kick out of that in the ad text, as it's something the would've used for marketing.

I made up all the text too, the only packagaing I have is in japanese. The Ocasse logo in the bottom right corner is the official one I took off some packaging however.

:lol: :yes: so very true... I think it's the very reason the folks at Giza don't use tapes any more... they gave up
