Some of us know that there is mega rare TRC 931 first edition branded Lucky not Lasonic. But how many knew about this :

I've seen that version on the forums.

I think it's the same Lucky that merged with Goldstar. Everyone will know this merger as LG nowadays.

on the ' regular ' lasonic 931 editions -
sometimes the speakers and other parts have the ' lucky' brand

I don't have the full story, but Lucky is Lasonic. When I met with Albert from Lasonic at the filming of the documentary "Boombox Creaters", he told me that Lucky is the name of Lasonic in Hong Kong where they are from. Thats why you see Lucky on the speaker's.

That's still a rare radio!

i see here a L30 in variations Lasonic and Lucky ,the only diferences is the graphics and Lucky dont have a echo control.
