This must be cheapened-down follow-up model to the Minisette-14 as it replaces the chromed knobs, switches and buttons with black plastic...

Compare to this Minisette-14 - note the simpler tuner dial construction...

*update*

It arrived today in reasonably fine fettle. Of the three Minisette radio-recorders I own, the 16 is the largest - with the 10 being the smallest. The 16 leaves off the 'sleep' feature - where the radio runs for whatever length tape you've put in the player. It does have in common with the Minisette-10 the slight problem of audible static pops when playing tapes. My Minisette-14 doesn't seem to manifest that issue and in fact is the better sounding of the three.

Nice little minis, I like the all silver one with the chrome knobs better though :-)
