Not sure why people are willing to pay 3 times as much for one with a working tape deck. Replacing a belt isn't that difficult.

True, but the missing button was just for the tape counter, and at least it had the top aluminum trim unlike some.-GZ- said:Had a little more wrong than just a bad belt, reli.Reli said:Seems someone got a pretty decent deal.

Missing button, lots of scratches and fading, no original antennas, etc...

Also, how often do people really use the tape deck anyway? Tapes are cool for surprising people with the novelty factor, but beyond that, they are inconvenient to carry around. Plus the Line In allows your friends to play something they want to hear too.

It's a good tape deck when it works properly, and I have a huge collection of tapes...., so I use the deck on my M90 about 80% of the time...![]()
But I'm a fanatic that way....![]()
I agree about using the line in, my RCA cable & adapter is never far from my Line-In.

^what he said.MasterBlaster84 said:I think it sold at what is now a low price for M90's because the pictures show a fairly rough looking and dirty M90 and it's not completely original (antennas). The chrome trim ring around the woofs looks pretty dinged up and the top trim doesn't look well either. The description of the tape deck issue and repair isn't comforting either, gives the impression someone has had it opened multiple times and that in itself can be unsettling to many non technical buyers. Maybe the seller didn't clean it up or it's got a lot a permanent stains and wear but in either case the pictures really didn't show it well. The boxes that have been pulling the big $$$'s at least looked pretty clean and seemed mostly unmolested.![]()

Then he complained about the condition and got a partial refund. He then cleaned it up and had it painted in a very dark Grey and posted it on ebay for resale to get a profit. Considering it's original condition that price is a little higher than I would pay, it is in pretty rough condition.
