Went to a warehouse garage sale and found
This minty Clairtone 7978 for $15
It's missing power cord but it works nice !
Cant believe how mint this one is.
I didnt even clean it yet.

Any figure 8 or rectangle plug should work for it. I think mine is rectangle.

Check the thrift shops, I get all mine there for Boomboxes or audio gear. Technics thru the 80's had them almost eclusively on most of their gear. Don't think there was ever a visit that I didn't find one when needed.
