Yes you got it after over a year of taking a leave from Boomboxery and collecting I finally bought my first Boombox and personal favorite the Sharp VZ-2000 from Adam AKA THAFUZZ!!! On ride out I was seriously thinking to myself if I was making a good decision on purchase as I was selling my Telefunken to fund new unit. But now I'm very happy I kept going on the very long ride!!!
Of course hanging with Adam was just as cool as always since I hadn't seen him since April of 14' at Midwest Swing Meet. Adam and I just BS'd about life. I learn something new every time we talk. Thank you bro for this awesome Edition to my Collection.
Of course Adam did quite a bit of restoration including the new sliders, Belts and cartridges for phonograph and cleaning. All I have to really do is find 1 screw for plexiglass as well as try and clean up scratches on plexiglass. I also have to put a new counter belt on, clean and demagnetize tape head and have another label made and possibly paint grills...That's it and Easy as pie!!!
(Post made for screw needed on plexiglass door on phono).
I will post finishing touch photos later.
