John, I really value your comments! You are a credit to this beautiful site! :hooray:

Nothing makes me happy like the glow of tubes, the warmth (trans and tubes) and and sound of it! Also stroboscopes on turntables..

I still live in that period of time..when we had tube radios and amps! It was so much fun! Also those 16" woofers and ribbon tweeters... wanted ears to bleed..and chest to get the pounding hit from those woofers!

No wonder I lost some hearing from my right ear! Lost high frequency response >10,000 but my left year is as good as an 18 year old kids.

Queen's EngliSH!
You'd think so, judging by that funny accent she has but that's purely for the TV. In real life, Her Majesty talks fluent Doric and has a vocabulary that would make a truck driver's potty mouthed cousin blush.

I just loved my Packard Bell console that I had back when I was a teenager!
I could outdo my brothers Sony solid state tuner/amp at 33 wpc.My PB was louder!:)

If I has the $ I'd go for a Mark Levinson or a Krell!! ! Insane quality with lots of gold!!!!:) :0

I just won't buy new disposable Chinese electronics, you actually think this will work after 5 years? I doubt it!!:)
