Nice variety you've got...some of my favourite boxes in there...GF9494, GF9191 and of course the M70 :-D

Very nice collection there Alan. I'm really liking that Red Sharp QT27 Mini. I have the Black colored one but, I'd like a Red or Blue one to match. That M70 is very sweet too.

Some lovely boxes there chief. I'm massively turned on by the Sony compo jobbie with its square woofers. That, and a GF555, my fingers are still black with molten rubber as I've washed out the capstan bearings and fitted some lovely pink silicon sleeves to two of those this week and as a result, have fallen in love with my own example again. A sleeper for sure as people come to realise that they're built like a brick sh*thouse and don't sound too bad with quality tapes.

I also find this:

very cute and came to within a whisker of buying one on eBay a couple of hours ago.
Please don't tell me it sounds as well as it looks or I'll be kicking myself for missing that!

And a Saisho. Hmm, I had a car radio of that nomenclature back in the '80s. Friends were always getting their Alpine and Pioneer kit TWOC'd but nobody would take the Saisho, not even when I put up posters all over the place advertising where I'd be parked and that the car didn't lock.

John, imo the Sanyo is a good box, really good sound quality at low volumes and the radio is really good aswell.
However there is another model, i think its the 9994, which looks very similar but has better speakers and is better at the higher volume levels also :-)

And the best build quality of any 1-piece ever made, IMHO :-)

Thanks for the comments fellas :-D

@Retro, that 500 did come from ebay but I cant remember the seller off the top of my head :hmmm:
Probably is the same one as there cant be to many about. Shame that the deck has issue, you can hear motor running all the time, probably an easy fix but im more a looker than a fixer
