well guys, had a great day at my local carboot yesterday-got an awesome 60s philips L6X38T world band radio that ive found out is very collectable and all working, but as its not a boombox we'll say no more on that apart from the fact its my find of the year so far :-D i got a nice sanyo mono, plus an akai aj w204 slimline mini, with one up one down speakers (tiny little things)!i cant provide a pic as no digital camera, and whenever i try uploading a pic borrowed off the net for some reason on Boomboxery i never can? used to be able to do it on s2g just fine :hmmm:
but enough of that....any of you guys got one and able to post a pic?it really is impressive this thing, its in black with a metal top plate,a lovely small thing :w00t:
how rare is this?never seen one before :w00t:

thanks for the kind words everyone.wish i could send you a pic si bro but my old phone has gone to lunch and ive replaced it with one that has no camera on-talk about me keeping it simple eh  all i can say guys is this....if you picture a double deck sanyo mini with the front and top speakers, then its just like that-metal top plate and metal deck keys.if anyone can post up a pic for me of one of these as the public library computer doesnt allow me to do it,at least it will give you guys an idea of what im talking about :-D and yeah,it has the usual akai quality but just in a tiny package.at first it was very quiet, especially on the decks, but i just gave the switches a good dousing of contact cleaner and now the radio goes good and loud!decks are still fairly quiet though-tried taking it apart with all the screws out to get to and clean the top speakers but it still wouldnt come apart....damn the build quality is good.....too good
