Just got this beauty ... its bigger than it looks .. and it pumps

Cassette doesn't work, tuning knob is scratched and aerial is broken ... otherwise in great condition. Needs a good clean though.

Nice! I just picked up the same box, but mine is the Japanese domestic model - it's called the CS-75X. Yours is in much better shape, mine has a nasty scar on the front left panel. Let us know how the restoration goes.

Will do ... from all reports the AIWA cassette deck will be tricky ... this will be tough for me with my limited knowledge. The knobs and grills seem to be the same champagne colour as the box and will be hard to match for respray.

I can't wait to give her a bubble bath though ! Anyone else got this beauty and has tips for me ?

i have one it has a bad speaker the deck is simular to the 990 which i also have nice box a mix of 660 990

its the same as my new cs660,except that has a full mesh front on it,i think they are both the same kind of quality as each other which spells sheer Q.U.A.L.I.T.Y

I've always liked the look of these and have a couple of nice ones.
They are built slightly higher quality than the 660 (a nice brushed metal top plate) but you lose out on the DSL.
The decks are tricky but not as bad as a 990.

Very handsome large boxes.
